Some of our students have been exchanging letters with their pen pals from Rock Canyon Highschool, in Colorado.

Some students from 3ºESO bilingual group have translated the recipies elaborated by other students. No food is to be wasted!

 Saint Patrick’s Day

17th March - Ireland’s National Holiday:
During the week 13-17 March there have been several activities, videos, songs and a contest, to commemorate this Irish festivity.

Renée
Our language and cultural assistant:
This school year we have had the luck of working with Renée. With her constant enthusiasm she has motivated the students to learn the English language and has taught them about the American culture and traditions as well. In this picture some students listen to Renée and her husband play the cello during an English lesson at Christmas.

Book Day- 23 April
Book Reviews:
Some students have written book reviews which have been displayed on the English Corner for everyone to read. Our students suggest the books that they have enjoyed the most.

Trip to Oxford
Host Family Exchange - 6 to 12 May:
Students from 3ºESO have travelled to Oxford, where they have been living for a week with a host family. The students have visited its many ancient colleges, Harry Potter film locations and beautiful parks.
They also went on a day trip to London, where they discovered the main attractions of this cosmopolitan city.
They did plenty of shopping and practised the English they learnt during their morning classes at Greyfriars School.
They really enjoyed the trip!
